Protected (Button Top)

Protected Button Top battery cells are lithium-ion cells that combine a raised positive terminal (button top) with an integrated protection circuit module (PCM) on the negative terminal end. The protection circuit adds an extra layer of safety by guarding against over-discharge, over-charge, short-circuits and excessive current draw, making these cells well suited to devices and applications where added safety margin is preferred.
