Usage Laws:

Before using this vehicle, check the applicable local laws relating to your intended use of the vehicle on roads, footpaths, shared paths, bicycle lanes, and bicycle paths.

Serial Number:

Each battery includes a unique serial number printed on the product for traceability. Serial numbers are recorded and assigned to each buyer upon shipment.

Electrical and Fire Safety:

• Only use compatible batteries and chargers supplied or certified by Elemex.

• Ensure batteries and chargers used are compatible with this vehicle.

• Charge only in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials.

• Do not leave the battery charging unattended or overnight.

• Avoid high-risk charging practices, including charging on flammable surfaces, using uncertified chargers, or charging damaged/swollen batteries.

• Modifying the vehicle or battery may cause fire.

• Warning signs: smoke, sparks, unusual heat, or swelling.

• If battery starts smoking or sparking, call 000 immediately.

User Responsibility & Charger Warning:

• Users must read and understand the Elemex Battery User Manual before use or charging.

• Lithium batteries must only be charged with Elemex-authorised, certified Li-ion chargers.

• Using aftermarket or uncertified chargers may cause performance issues, reduce battery life, or create safety risks.

• Use of uncertified chargers voids the warranty; any resulting damage is the user’s responsibility.

Safe Storage:

• Store in a cool, dry place (15°C – 25°C).

• Do not expose to prolonged heat or water.

• Keep out of reach of children.

Disposal:

• If battery is detachable, separate it safely and dispose of according to local recycling laws.

• If not detachable, follow local laws for vehicle disposal.

• Do not dispose of batteries or vehicles in household bins.

Additional Safety:

• Do not use the vehicle if it contains a damaged battery.

Emergency Instructions:

• If battery emits smoke or fire, move it outdoors if safe.

• Use a Class D fire extinguisher or sand.

• Do not use water on lithium battery fires.
